OUR STORY

M.E.N. – Men Elevate Now was founded in 2015 by Stapha Stevens after a realization that would ultimately shape the organization's mission for years to come.

After graduating high school and entering college, Stapha found himself facing a difficult truth: although he had completed school, he did not feel prepared for life. Like many young men, he understood how to pass exams and follow instructions, but had never been taught the practical tools needed to navigate adulthood with confidence. He did not know how to build a resume, prepare for interviews, tie a tie, or fully understand his place in the world as a young man stepping into independence.

That feeling of being unprepared, uncertain, and lost was powerful. And it sparked a question that became the foundation of M.E.N.:

"If young men are not being prepared for life, who will prepare them?"

What began as a commitment to bridge that gap has grown into a structured self-development organization dedicated to helping young men build confidence, identity, discipline, leadership, and purpose.

At M.E.N., we believe many young men are not lacking potential. They are lacking guidance, positive examples, structure, and opportunities to discover who they are capable of becoming. Our programs are designed to meet young men where they are while equipping them with the tools needed to navigate life, adversity, relationships, responsibility, and manhood.

We are not simply a mentorship program. We are a developmental experience. Through meaningful conversations, interactive lessons, accountability, and authentic connection, young men naturally find mentorship, brotherhood, and support along the journey.

Every conversation, every lesson, and every experience is rooted in one mission:

Build the man. Transform the future.

LOYALTY

We remain committed to our mission, purpose, values, and the people who genuinely contribute to our elevation.

M.E.N. primarily serves young men between the ages of 10 and 25 who are navigating critical stages of identity, development, and transition into adulthood. We partner with schools, youth organizations, community centers, and faith-based institutions to bring impactful programming directly to the young men who need it most.

Our programs are designed to provide guidance, structure, real-world tools, emotional support, and meaningful development experiences that help young men build confidence, purpose, discipline, and self-awareness.

As the impact of M.E.N. continues to grow, the organization has also expanded into male empowerment seminars and community conversations for adult men. What began as youth development has evolved into a broader movement centered around growth, accountability, healing, brotherhood, and intentional living.

We are also a trusted resource for administrators, educators, and community leaders who recognize the growing need for programs that prepare young men for life beyond the classroom.

We do not simply mentor. We develop.
